Virtual Spaces Projects

All files of a Virtual Space used by Virtual Spaces together are called a project. When creating a new project the user has to define a folder in the file system where all files are stored, the project folder. Files in this folder shouldn't be renamed or moved by the user. An existing project can be opened by selecting File >> Open... A dialog appears where the project folder of the project that is to be opened can be selected. An opened project can be closed, e.g. if a new project shall be created, by selecting Project >> Close project from the main menu. A closed project can be reopened at any time.

Below the main files/folders of a project are described:

>> model.exhibition
This file contains the elements and the structure of a Virtual Space except the elements of the modules. These are stored in the following files.

>> *.module
Files with a name of the format filename.module contain the elements and the structure of modules.

>> diagram.exhibition_diagram
