Links
There are three types of links:- Scene Links
- Module Links
- External Links
The properties of the links are distributed over two property sheets (Core
and Link Appearance
). You can switch between the property sheets by clicking on the property sheet titles on the left side of the properties view (see image below).
The Core
property sheet contains the following link properties (no matter which type of link):
Title
The title of the link. The title can be used as part of the hyperlink in a generated webpage.Description
A description for the link. The description is up to now (Virtual Spaces Release 0.92.10Beta) not used in any generated file. In the next release the description will be used in the generated PDF and RTF files.
Link Appearance
property sheet contains the following link properties:
Icon
Each link has an icon. There are default icons for each link type. You can change the icon of a link using this property.Icon Angle
The angle the icon should be rotated clockwise. Enter a number between 0 and 359.Show Background
If this property is set to true the generated hyperlink has a dark, transparent background. In many cases this is needed in the interest of readability of the title of the link.Show Icon
If this property is set to true, the icon of the link is shown in the generated webpage.Show Title
If this property is set to true, the title of the link is shown in the generated webpage.
Scene Links
The default icon for Scene Links is the following arrow icon: . In order to create a spacial effect rotate the icon by using the Icon Angle
property to point "in the direction" of the linked Scene. The Core
property sheet of a Scene Link has the following additional property:
Scene Link Target
The Scene that is linked via the Scene Link.
Module Links
The default icon for Module Links is the following icon: .
External Links
The default icon for External Links is the following arrow icon: . The icon is not shown by default. The Core
property sheet of an External Link has the following additional property:
Url
The url of the linked website.
