Virtual Spaces Enduser Documentation

The workbench

The working environment of Virtual Spaces (the workbench) consists of three parts that are always present. These parts are shown in the figure below.
First of all there is a part where the model of the Virtual Space is edited (the Editor View[gl.]). This part is red bordered. Then there is an outline view called Navigator View, a tree view of the model. This part is orange bordered. The third part (green bordered) has two tabs. On the first tab (the properties view) there are the properties of an element selected in the editor shown. The second tab (the Validation View) holds the results of a validation (see here for further information).

The editor view can contain several tabs. Each tab shows an editor. One editor is the main editor. In this editor the scenes and modules are arranged and linked. See here for further information about editors.

If you double-click on a tab header the corresponding view is maximized and all other views are minimized (see image below). Double-click on the tab header again (green bordered) to get all views back or use the icons of the minimized views on the sides of the window (red bordered) to get a specific view back.
