Step 4 - Generate HTML
Before proceeding with creating a module, let's generate HTML pages for what you've got so far.- First, you need to define what is the first scene of your virtual space. You only have to do this once for a virtual space (unless you change your mind).
Click on the white background of the scene diagram editor.In the properties view the element
Virtual Space
should be selected. - In the column labeled
Value
click in the row that starts withStart Scene
. A button appears at the end of the row. Click on it to open a drop-down menu and select "Scene one". Hit enter. - Save your project.
- Now, you're prepared to generate HTML pages for your virtual space. From the main menu, select
Project >> Generate >> Generate HTML...
. A dialog pops up that looks like that: - Choose a folder in your file system where the generated HTML pages will be stored.
- Click
Finish
. - A progress bar will be displayed showing the status of the generation process. After the generation process completed successfully, a dialog appears that asks you if you want to open the generated HTML pages in a browser. Click on
Open in a browser
. - The virtual tour you've just generated through your virtual space will be opened in your default browser.
