Virtual Spaces Enduser Documentation

Step 4 - Generate HTML

Before proceeding with creating a module, let's generate HTML pages for what you've got so far.
  1. First, you need to define what is the first scene of your virtual space. You only have to do this once for a virtual space (unless you change your mind).
Click on the white background of the scene diagram editor.

In the properties view the element Virtual Space should be selected.

  2. In the column labeled Value click in the row that starts with Start Scene. A button appears at the end of the row. Click on it to open a drop-down menu and select "Scene one". Hit enter.

  3. Save your project.
  4. Now, you're prepared to generate HTML pages for your virtual space. From the main menu, select Project >> Generate >> Generate HTML.... A dialog pops up that looks like that:

  5. Choose a folder in your file system where the generated HTML pages will be stored.
  6. Click Finish.

  7. A progress bar will be displayed showing the status of the generation process. After the generation process completed successfully, a dialog appears that asks you if you want to open the generated HTML pages in a browser. Click on Open in a browser.

  8. The virtual tour you've just generated through your virtual space will be opened in your default browser.
